GGC served as the prime consultant for this project. The improvements included the design of a new right-turn lane at the IH35 intersection and approximately 1.84 miles of roadway improvements between IH35 and Castle Cross Drive. In addition, the project encompassed relocating a bus shelter, multiple bus pad additions, sidewalk ramps, and the extension of a raised concrete median. The project included joint bid utilities; the upgrading of an existing 6” gas main to a 12” steel main, adjustment of water valves and manhole covers, adjustment of two water services, the reconstruction of one manhole, and TXDOT coordination for the raised median construction.
